Overtime wishes you Happy CNY !
Dong dong chiang ! Dong dong- Uhhhh, sorry its annoying yes, I agree with you.
Just cant stand the chingchongchiang CNY music especially in the malls. Goshhhhhhh wish there is a whole year of Christmas songs lol.
But hey, one thing I like about Chinese New Year is their food! How can one miss Chinese New Years signature dishes? Every year when CNY arrives, I smell awesome foods! My version of CNY symbolic recipes would be....
1. Beer
2. Lousang (Yu Sang)
3. Crispy Pork
4. Dried Meat
5. Egg rolls (all type)
6. The cebisan cebisan meat (rou si)
7. Roast duck
8. Dimsums (wtf)
9. All the snacks and sweets
10. All the unhealthy delicious food
and everything that I can find in my grandmas house will end up in my stomach.
Sinful pleasure.
Thankyou stomach, again, for CNY. And my diet starts tomorrow forever.
So last week, I was invited to review Overtimes CNY menu , courtesy of Sirens Media and Ryan Mo, thankyou! It was the Menjalara Kepong branch.
| Omgosh I tell you, Overtime is opening more and more everywhere growing like mushrooms. -.- |
My 2nd lousang of the year
Hehehe I dont care if you eat lousang/yusang or not but you have to lou the sang during CNY. It brings good luck! Uhh something like that I heard. lol .
So Ive completed my CNY symbolic checklist #likeaboss.
4. Dried Meat
5. Egg rolls (all type)
6. The cebisan cebisan meat (rou si)
7. Roast duck
8. Dimsums (wtf)
9. All the snacks and sweets
10. All the unhealthy delicious food
Were greeted with fabulous looking crispy pork! To be honestly I think their pork could be done better, its just a little cold. But its nice when dipped into their chili sauce though.
Omg @ my sore throat God blessed me that night. Just how ironic when were down with sore throat the more we wanna get fried stuffs. I even searched for fried chicken the next day. Uhhhhhhhh.
You know its worth it if you drink :) 3 barrels of starker already cost more then Rm 333 usually. Plus you get a yu sang here! Share it among your friends (of 5-6) and I guess its only around Rm 60 per pax and you get to drink a lot! Do pay Overtime a visit!
Have fun and Happy Chinese New Year !!! ;)
